Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SOC Analyst (Security Operations Center) to join our team. This opportunity is open for freelance, consultant, or full-time positions, giving you flexibility in how you contribute to our team. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security events within our organization, utilizing tools such as QRadar and LogSYS.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor network traffic and logs for suspicious activities using QRadar and LogSYS.
• Incident Response: Analyze security incidents, respond to alerts, and escalate issues as necessary.
Threat Detection: Identify and analyze potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
Log Management: Collect and correlate log data to detect patterns of suspicious behavior.
Reporting: Generate reports on security events, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.
Collaboration: Work with other team members and departments to ensure effective incident management and mitigation.
Security Tools: Regularly update and maintain security monitoring tools such as QRadar and LogSYS.
Skills and Qualifications:
For Freshers:
Basic understanding of information security concepts, network protocols, and security monitoring.
Knowledge of security tools like QRadar and LogSYS is a plus.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking basics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
For Experienced Candidates:
Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with QRadar, LogSYS, or similar SIEM tools
In-depth understanding of threat detection and incident response processes.
Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and vulnerability management.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to manage and respond to security incidents effectively.
Additional Requirements:
Certification(s) such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or any relevant security certifications are a plus.
Ability to work in shifts (24/7 environment) if opting for full-time.
